LOCAL BUSINESS. INDEPENDENT PERSPECTIVE.
Business value in the context that matters to you
A proposed sale, acquisition or shareholder change calls for a clear view of performance and risk. We help Perth business owners and their advisors understand what supports value, where assumptions matter and what level of reporting the decision requires.
For a Perth engineering firm, equipment supplier or resources services business, major contracts and customer concentration may be important. For a local professional practice or service business, recurring revenue and dependence on the owner may be more relevant. Our analysis follows the business’s actual commercial position.
Our Melbourne-based valuation team works with Perth and Western Australian clients by video and secure information exchange. We arrange consultations around an agreed time and collaborate directly with your accountant or lawyer throughout the engagement.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Business valuation FAQs
Which valuation service do I need?
An EOV can suit preliminary planning where an indicative assessment is enough. A formal SME valuation provides more detailed analysis and reporting for an agreed purpose. Expert witness and litigation engagements address the requirements of a dispute or proceeding. Tell us what you need to achieve and we’ll help you choose.
How do you value a Perth business?
We consider the business’s financial performance, maintainable earnings, assets, risks and relevant market evidence. Depending on the engagement, we may use income, market or asset-based approaches. The report explains the approach and assumptions behind the conclusion.
Can you help with a legal, tax or shareholder matter?
Yes. We provide valuations for these purposes, with the report and scope agreed at the outset. We can work with your accountant or lawyer to clarify the intended use and relevant reporting requirements.
How long will my valuation take?
Timing depends on the report type, business complexity and available information. We confirm an expected timeframe when scoping your engagement. If you have a deadline, tell us in your initial enquiry so we can assess availability.
What do I need for the first conversation?
Simply tell us a little about your business, why you need a valuation and when you need it. After that, we’ll guide you through the relevant financial information and provide a tailored request. You don’t need to prepare a full document pack before contacting us.
Do you have an office in Perth?
Our headquarters are in Melbourne. We service Perth and WA through video meetings, secure document exchange and direct collaboration with clients and their advisors. In-person attendance can be discussed where the engagement requires it.
How do major customer contracts affect a Perth business valuation?
Contracts can be important to value, but their contribution depends on matters such as duration, renewal risk, margins and customer concentration. We also consider whether the business can maintain its earnings if a key contract changes. Relevant agreements and commercial assumptions are reviewed within the agreed valuation scope.
